I know this post has nothing to do with hair but it is something important to me, however, I will keep it brief. March is National Kidney Month but today is actually World Kidney Day. Awhile ago I shared that my father was diagnosed with a rare kidney disease and in need of a kidney. In May 2010, I was his donor and life as he knew it was back to normal. This day is designated to heighten awareness about kidney disease and the importance of donors. It is also a day to celebrate survivors and living donors.
