10 Natural Pampering Tips

I found this awesome article on Web MD.  It gives you 10 ways to Pamper Yourself Naturally and I can’t wait to try each and every one of these!  Well, maybe 9 of them, I prefer to drink my cup of joe!  These can all be made at home...very simple!

  1. Advocado Mask
Rub the skin lightly against your face. Leave the leftover avocado bits on for skin for about ten minutes and then rinse.
2.  Sugar Scrub
Recipe:  1 cup sugar, ½ cup olive oil, and a few drops of essential oil

3.  Skin Rejuvation
Recipe:  Mix 1 egg yolk, 1 tablespoon of honey,    1  tablespoon of plain yogurt, and ½ teaspoon of olive oil.  Apply mixture to the face for 10 minutes
and rinse.

4.  Conditioner for dry, damaged hair  - Recipe:   Mix ¼ cup plain yogurt, ¼ cup mayonnaise, and 1 egg white. Apply to hair and comb through for even coverage. Leave for 30 minutes and then rinse.

5.  Eye De-Puffer  This is a major one for me!  Put a slice of chilled cucumber over each eye for 10 minutes.

6.  Detoxifying bath
Recipe:  Mix ¾ cup Epsom salts, ¼ cup baking soda, and a few drops of whatever essential oil you like.  Add to bath water and relax.

7.  Dark Circles
Apply thin slices of potato under each eye for 10 minutes to fade dark circles.

8/9.  Lip and Body Moisturizer
For the lip - Soften and condition your lips while adding shine by rubbing olive oil on them.   As a body moisturizer, apply olive oil and a few drops of essential oil.
10.  Shower Scrub

Recipe:  Mix 3 tablespoons of used coffee grounds from your morning cup of coffee and 1 tablespoon salt in a bowl. Use as a scrub in the shower within 20 minutes (before the grounds start to oxidize).
