Hair Therapy Wrap Thermal Turban Heat Wrap

If you follow me on instagram @curlychics then you know I received an awesome box of goodies from my girl, Nikki of Curly Nikki.  One of the items in the box was the Hair Therapy Wrap Thermal Turban Heat Wrap.

I was super excited to try out my new Hair Therapy Wrap so I dove right in today.  It was time to pamper my hair so I shampooed, applied my deep conditioner mixed with ½ cup of warm coconut oil and then proceeded to read the directions for the cap.  Very simple – you insert the gel packs, place the entire wrap in the microwave for 45 seconds (give or take 15 seconds depending on your microwave) and then place on top of your head which you have already covered with a plastic cap.  It feels so good on your head and most importantly I can remain mobile.  No cords, no being tied to one spot in the house #Ain’tNobodyGotTimeForThat.

The product claims:

The Hair Therapy Wrap applies gentle heat for up to 30 minutes, encouraging conditioner to penetrate the hair follicles. It helps activate treatments, hot oils, or re-constructors and can also help to control a dry, flaky scalp. You can use the Hair Therapy Wrap while bathing, relaxing, or around the house.

 

After 20 minutes, I removed the cap and rinsed my warm hair under tepid water and proceeded to section my hair for styling prep.  My hair was very soft and I feel like it did the job.  I will continue to use and document results.
