Journey to 30 {pounds that is}: What’s Cookin’?, Angela - Guest Blogger

Ever run into someone you have seen in a while and immediately notice that they’ve lost a ton of weight? What’s the first thing that usually comes to mind? What did you not eat to lose all of that weight? When it comes to losing weight, food is usually thought to be bland, boring and simply, a necessity in order to get thru the journey. This journey to 30 has been no different. Sure, there are tons of fish, turkey and lean meats that have been consumed, but the real trick is learning how to keep it from getting {too} boring to stay on track. So, in search of fun, yet healthy snack, I came across Domestic Charm’s Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie.

This can be used as a mid afternoon snack or a dinner meal replacement after your daily workout. Here’s the recipe:
·         1 ½ bananas
·         ¼ cup of natural peanut butter (I bought mine from Whole Foods)
·         ½ cup of unsweetened coconut milk
·         1 cup of ice
Place all ingredients into a blender and puree until smooth. Garnish with a slice of banana. Makes one serving. Happy Eating!
