Bee Mine Bee Hold Curly Butter - Product Review

I hope everyone has had a chance to use the Bee Mine discount code “CURLYCHICS” running through December 7th.
I had the amazing opportunity to review 3 Bee Mine Products, so this will be a 3 parter.
I have been a fan of the Bee Mine Bee Hold Curly Butter for over a year now.  There are several factors I consider when I decide if a product will have a permanent home in my arsenal.   See how the Curly Butter faired.
Scent – If the product appeals to my receptors, it is already ahead of the game before I even use it.  I am one of those consumers who will make a purchase largely based on scent.
The Bee Mine Bee Hold Curly Butter’s scent is amazing!  I have tried both the Coconut Cream and the Island Mango scents.  I like the coconut cream but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Island Mango.  This scent is hands down my favorite.  It is one of those smells that will have a person “febreezing” you.  It smells that good!  If scents aren’t your thing, you can also purchase an unscented version.
Price – clearly price point is important.  I want what most consumers want, quality product with minimal cost.
An 8 oz jar costs $13.97 which I consider to be very reasonable.
Does it live up to its own hype?
If the product claims to provide moisture and softness, I want my hair to maintain moisture levels and feel uber soft.   If the product states “all natural”, the ingredients better be all natural.  Does it deliver?  Does it do what it says it will do?
Product Description:
This shea butter and aloe based curly butter is packed with rich moisturizing nutrients to give you long lasting moisture and promote growth. It has a soft touchable hold that will help to defrizz your frizzes and give great definition. This Curly Butter is wonderful for twists, finger curls, puffs/pony tails and especially for laying down unruly hair. Great for naturals, relaxed, texlaxed, everyone.

Moisture – check, defrizz – check, great definition – check, softness - check check!
Packaging
Curb appeal is important as well.  If the container is pleasing to the eye, it will grab my attention.  It shows that the company did their homework and researched their customer base.  Is the packaging memorable?  Will I quickly be able to identify the product line? Is the container easy to open and dispense?

The fact that the company uses the bumble bee as its logo makes it memorable and easily identifiable.
Ingredients
Although I prefer all natural or organic ingredients, I do not have a zero tolerance policy on it.  I look for ingredients that agree with my hair.  If my hair responds well to a not so natural product, I may still use it depending on what else is in it.  Yes, that's a dent from my finger.  It reminds me of cake batter!

Ingredients: 100% Shea Butter, 100% Aloe Vera Gel, Essential Oil Blend, Vegetable Glycerin, Rosemary Leaf and Chammomile Extract, Silk Powder and Perfume
The ingredients in the curly butter are excellent, especially with shea butter and aloe being at the top of the list.

How accessible is it?
I personally prefer to be able to run right to my local store and pick up the things I need, especially when it comes to my hair.  However, I am a frequent online shopper and have grown accustomed to waiting on the postal system for my items.   Bee Mine Products turnaround time is awesome!  I received my products within 36 hours of my purchase.  Yeah, unheard of with some product lines, right?

How I used the product
1.   Freshly shampooed flat twist protected style
2.   After I took my protected style down that I had worn for 5 days, I took the flat twists out and  wore it loose but did not have to reapply product.
3.   Co washed braid out
4.   Freshly shampooed braid out.  Reapplied after day two when I rebraided at night
5.   Stretched braid out

Bottom line - this product is everything!  I highly recommend it!  Big thank you to the lovely Tracey Q, Founder and Creator of Bee Mine Products, Inc. for sending me these items.

Rating:  5 out of 5 curls
