You know that maternal instinct that automatically kicks in when you see a friend in need? It’s the part of you that wants to reach out and provide that shoulder or friendly ear? But what do you do when the friend has not enlisted you for help? Do you automatically step in and give unsolicited advice?
I want to know have you ever felt the need to “save” someone from getting a relaxer? Either your transitioning girlfriend who “can’t take it anymore!” or the relaxed for life cousin who’s hair is in dire straits. Do you want to pull her aside and tell her “DON’T DO IT?” How do you do it without coming off like a know it all or passing judgment? Please share!
