I have been through it with my hair! I started my journey in 2002 and none of it was pleasant. Dry as the Sahara ends, thirsty roots, my ends were split like a messy divorce, forced hair cuts (not trims - cuts!), you name it! But guess what, I am so glad that I did it. I'm not going to be cliche and say "I wouldn't change a thing" because that would be a falsy. What I will say is that I wish I would have done it sooner and had more "hairducation".
